Now he is 14 and doing great. He argues with me quite a lot and I reviewed the CPS approach and realized he still needs the same help with frustration when an argument ensues. The change in my approach was the key to get the desired results which felt like mutual respect and understanding of a young man. Then the real eye opener came when my five year old daughter started having frequent meltdowns which did not exist before. I naturally started with traditional behavioral modification that is so deeply ingrained and it only increased the amount of frustration and subsequent meltdowns. It finally occurred to me that she needs the CPS basket approach and now we are working things out so nicely. Of course it requires a lot more of my focus and energy as a mom and it seems to be a counter intuitive approach to be so much more controlled by my children's needs but if they were diabetic I would have to make all of those adjustments and this seems just as biological. Thanks for the review.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09150051597142603997noreply@blogger.com
